Had a Monday that made me question everything about this job
Replaced a power supply on a Dell Optiplex last week and somehow shorted the motherboard on accident, felt like a total rookie after 8 years in the game. Has anyone else had one of those days where a simple fix just goes completely sideways for no reason?

Man I've been there. That feeling of completely botching something simple just hits different after years of doing the same stuff.

The "botching something simple" part really got me. I used to think those mistakes meant you were getting rusty or losing your touch, but now I see it's just part of being human and doing stuff long enough. It actually makes me feel more normal when it happens, like yeah, I'm still learning and that's okay.
