Unpopular opinion: a decent weekly roundup thread beats a big list of links
I run a small town rec group in Bozeman with 840 members and last week I tried something different. Instead of dropping one giant list of links on Monday, I posted three short picks a day and asked people to add one of their own in the replies. We got 47 replies by Friday, way more than the usual 5 or 6 on a link dump, and a few folks messaged me saying they actually read the whole thread for once. What's the best format you've tried for sharing picks without it turning into a wall of links?
