My surface-supplied hose is a nightmare after yesterday's dive

I tried to coil it properly at home, but it's all twisted. Spent the morning fighting with it and got nowhere. How do you guys prevent this?

A nightmare seems dramatic for a hose. They always kink up, just takes patience to sort out.

Did you catch that segment on morning radio about hose kinks? They said cheaper hoses kink because the walls are too thin. I tried a heavier duty one last season and it was still a pain. Honestly, patience is overrated when you're trying to water before work. Sometimes you just need a hose that doesn't fight you every step of the way.
