My barber told me he dropped X-Men after issue 137 and it got me thinking about when fans jump ship
Was getting a cut last Tuesday at this place on 5th and my barber saw my Uncanny X-Men shirt and said he quit buying floppies right after the Dark Phoenix saga wrapped because he felt like nothing could top it. I never thought about it that way, like some fans don't leave because a book gets bad, they leave because it peaked for them and they want to keep that memory clean. Do you guys have a run you walked away from on a high note instead of riding it into the ground?
