Vent: a guy at a diner in Omaha poured my coffee back into the pot
Stopped at a diner off I-80 in Omaha on a job 3 weeks ago and ordered a cup with my eggs. Took one sip and it was cold, so I flagged the waitress. She grabbed my mug, walked it to the server station, and dumped my half cup right back into the big urn to "warm it back up." The cook saw my face and just shrugged like this happens on Tuesdays. I drank water with breakfast and now I watch the pour at every diner between jobs. My wife says I'm paranoid but she wasn't there. What's the worst thing a server has done to your cup?
