Rant: my 6 month old grinder died mid pour and I had to finish with a blade grinder
Last Tuesday my burr grinder just quit 20 grams into a 30 gram dose, so I grabbed my old blade grinder and the cup came out muddy and bitter no matter what I did. Now I'm stuck between dropping $150 on a repair or just buying a new one, and half the folks I know say grinders are the one thing worth spending real money on while the other half say a $40 hand grinder does the same job. Which side are you on, is a dead burr grinder worth fixing or do you just toss it?
