Called my buddy crazy for spending $600 on a coffee roaster 3 years ago, now I roast my own beans every Sunday
Finally tasted his Ethiopian Yirgacheffe batch last month and it was so much better than anything I've bought from a store here in Phoenix that I ordered my own roaster the next day, anyone else stubbornly avoided something for years and then wondered why they waited so long?

Bro $600?? Dang that's wild, I thought my buddy was crazy for dropping $250 on a Behmor last year. But then I tried his fresh roasted Costa Rican Tarrazu and it literally tasted like berries with a honey finish, now I'm the one checking my order status every hour like a kid on Christmas morning.
