Watched my buddy copy code line by line off a tutorial for 3 weeks, then I typed it from memory and learned more in 4 days
Copy pasting along with a video feels like progress but your brain just watches, it does not build anything. When I forced myself to retype a to-do app from scratch and hit errors on my own, that is when stuff actually stuck. Anyone else ditch the follow along videos and just build broken stuff until it works?
