TIL my uncle's BASIC code from 1985 is still the best way I learn loops
I started coding like 3 years ago with Python tutorials. Kept watching videos about for loops and while loops, but it never stuck. Last month I found an old floppy disk with my uncle's BASIC programs from when he was a teenager. He wrote this little guessing game with a loop that just clicked for me. Now I rewrite every new concept I learn in BASIC first before trying it in Python. Weird but it works. Has anyone else found that old languages make new concepts easier to understand?
