Man, one comment at a meetup and you nuked the whole thing? That seems like a lot. If the project actually worked and you learned stuff building it, rewriting from zero just because some guy had an opinion feels like throwing out the baby with the bathwater. I'd say refactor the rough parts, sure, but a full from scratch rewrite usually just means you trade old bugs for new ones and lose a weekend you'll never get back.
