Ngl, my coding sessions feel sharper after a morning run, but my buddy disagrees.

He thinks diving straight in is better, while I need that energy boost. How do you all balance fitness with learning?

Notice this happens with a lot of things people skip to "save time." @lucaschen's friend is a perfect example. Skipping the run to code more backfires because your brain is part of your body. If you let the body get sluggish, the mind follows. That morning movement isn't stealing your good hours, it's creating them. Your buddy's straight-into-code method would just leave me staring at a screen with foggy thoughts. Different engines need different warm-ups.

Morning runs just waste your peak mental hours.

My friend tried skipping workouts to code more, but his focus got way worse after a week.
