I tried two ways to learn loops in Python for a month, and one way actually made it stick
Six weeks ago I started learning Python with a goal of just writing a simple dice game. I tried two things. The first was watching back to back videos and copying the code line by line. After two weeks I could follow along fine but the moment I opened a blank file I froze. The second thing was rewriting the same loop five times from memory and then breaking it on purpose. I renamed variables to nonsense like x and z, deleted a line, and watched the errors pile up. That felt awful for about three days. Then something clicked. I wrote a while loop that kept asking for a guess until it was right, and I did it without looking anything up. If you are stuck on loops, try breaking your own code and fixing it instead of copying more tutorials. What actually made it click for you, the videos or the mistakes?
