Got roasted in a code review for naming my variables after snacks

Last week my mentor looked at my Python script where I named every loop variable after chips (chip1, chip2, salsa_dip, etc.) and said, 'If I have to debug a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos at 2am, I'm quitting.' I thought it was harmless, but he showed me how a teammate spent 20 minutes tracing my 'nachos' integer. Now I just use simple names like 'count' and 'total', and it's honestly way easier to read. Has anyone else gotten weird naming feedback that stuck with them?
