Took me way too long to figure out why my tool offsets kept drifting

Spent a full weekend chasing a .003 offset shift on a part I run every week in Portland. Turned out the drawbar pressure was creeping up as the machine warmed up, and nobody at the shop had ever checked it. Took a $40 gauge and 20 minutes to fix after 2 days of pulling my hair out. Anyone else had a 'simple' issue that ended up being a hidden machine issue?
