Can we talk about the crash bar on the old Bridgeport in Bay City?
Back in '03 I was running a face mill on a Bridgeport in a shop outside Bay City and got too close to the limit switch, so I hit the E-stop, pulled the bar back by hand, and shut the spindle down before the insert could dig in, but I still wonder how close I came to wrecking that quill.
