Shoutout to the lady in Bakersfield who got me to finally fix my sprinkler timer
My water bill hit $94 in August, way higher than the $40 it usually runs, and I could not figure out why. A neighbor down the street saw me out there with a wrench and told me her timer had been stuck running every zone twice a day for a month. Mine was doing the same thing, and I had never once looked at that little dial since I moved in. I set it to three days a week, ten minutes a zone, and the grass looks fine. Anyone else catch a dumb leak like this before it got worse?
