PSA: I was recycling my coffee cups wrong for 5 years in Austin
Turns out the compostable cups at my usual shop cant go in the city's blue bin, they need the green organics pickup. A worker at the transfer station pointed it out when she saw me toss one, now I check for the green lid symbol before throwing anything away. Anyone else find out their local rules are way stricter than the label makes it seem?
