My friend in Denver called my recycling bin 'wish-cycling' after seeing my takeout containers
She said I was just hoping stuff would get processed, so now I actually check the city's list before tossing anything. Has anyone else had to relearn their local recycling rules recently?

Honestly, I kind of hate how complicated it's gotten. My city's list has so many exceptions, like some plastics are okay but others with the same number aren't. It feels like you need a degree just to throw out a yogurt cup. Does your friend actually follow all the rules, or is she just giving you a hard time?
