Installing solar panels took 8 hours because of one dumb mistake

I thought mounting panels would be quick, but I forgot to check my roof angle first. It took 8 hours to fix the brackets and redo the wiring. Has anyone else run into a simple miss that blew up your timeline?

Eight hours sounds like a personal problem, not a solar panel issue.

Make sure the breakers are off before you start. That's the one that got me. I thought I flipped the right one but nope, whole house went dark and I had to reset everything. Took two hours just to figure out where the main shutoff was because the builder buried it behind drywall. Now I label everything with a sharpie and a piece of tape. Still, beats paying an electrician to do it.
