I finally dug out my 2019 bus pass, and the route I took to work every day doesn't exist anymore

Three years ago I rode the 14 bus from my place in Portland to my old office job, rain or shine, because it was one straight shot and cheaper than parking downtown. Last week I pulled out the old pass while cleaning a drawer and looked up the schedule, and the whole line got cut when the city redid its budget, so now it's a 20 minute walk just to reach a different route. Has anyone else watched a bus line they relied on quietly disappear, and did you find a way to get it back or just work around it?
