Got roped into a solar co-op after calling it 'virtue signaling'

"My neighbor in Denver kept pushing this community solar buy-in. I told him it was just for folks who want a pat on the back. Eighteen months later, my electric bill dropped from $142 to $61 on average. The panel install took one day, no roof damage, zero maintenance so far. But the funny part? I joined the co-op's monthly meeting and now I'm the one arguing about inverter warranties. Has anyone else eaten crow on something like this, or just me?"
