My FIL's old timing light beats my fancy digital one every time
I used to swear by my digital timing light with the built in tach, but after it gave me wrong readings on my 69 Chevelle three weekends in a row, I dug out the old Sears one my father in law left me. That old unit with the analog needle just works, no menus or batteries dying mid adjust. Am I the only one who thinks newer tools for old cars are more trouble than they're worth?
