Unpopular opinion: Ballantyne is overhyped and South End is getting too crowded for the price
I was at a local coffee shop last week and overheard two realtors arguing whether $450k for a 1-bedroom in South End is actually worth it or if you'd get more space in Ballantyne for the same money. So which side are you on, are we paying for location or just hype right now?

Oh boy, that $450k for a one-bedroom in South End is just wild to me. I remember when you could get a whole house for that not too long ago. You're paying for the name and the hot spots, not the actual space. In Ballantyne you'd get a proper two-bedroom with a yard for that money, maybe even a patio if you look hard enough. People are just chasing the Instagram vibe down there, I reckon.
