Showing a house and the buyer asked if the pool came with the dolphins

I had a listing in Matthews last summer, a modest 3 bed 2 bath with a small above ground pool. This couple walks in, spends maybe 5 minutes inside, then heads to the backyard. The husband stares at the pool for a solid minute and asks me, completely straight faced, if the dolphins were included in the sale. I laughed thinking it was a joke. He was serious. His wife just sighed and said "here we go again." Turns out he thought the pool filter was a dolphin fountain. I had to explain it was just a pump. They ended up putting in an offer 20k under asking anyway. Has anyone else had a buyer misinterpret something that badly during a tour? I still wonder if he was messing with me.
