My first house showing in South End was a total comedy of errors
Back in 2018, I showed up to a condo viewing with zero prep, just a pen and a scrap of paper (I know, I know). The agent was rattling off HOA fees and square footage, and I was trying to scribble it all down while also pretending to inspect the crown molding. Now, I have a whole checklist on my phone for every showing in Plaza Midwood or NoDa, with pre-loaded questions about special assessments and utility averages. What's one thing you always check that you used to totally overlook?

Honestly, it's a house, not a space shuttle. I used to stress over every detail, but now I just check if the place feels right and the big stuff works. All that extra paperwork just gives you a headache.

My last inspection I just looked at the roof, plumbing, and electric. The inspector's 50 page report was useless. Found a leak myself by running all the faucets for ten minutes.
