Spent $640 on a track saw before I learned my circular saw was set up wrong the whole time
I watched a guy at the lumber yard in Boise crosscut 8/4 white oak with a 20 dollar blade and a straightedge and the cut was cleaner than mine, and my track setup suddenly looked real dumb. Turns out my blade was the issue, a cheap 40 tooth that was burning more than cutting, and nobody had ever told me to match the tooth count to the stock. Anyone else feel like they bought the expensive tool when they just needed the right 12 inch blade for 30 bucks?
