Site ledger said 6 feet, I cut it at 5'10"

Trim work in a Denver condo last Tuesday, the plans called for a 6 foot header over a sliding door. I trusted the drawing, cut the casing, and it sat there an inch and a half short. Turns out the framer measured off the wrong stud, so I ended up ripping a spacer and re-cutting all four pieces. Anyone else ever have a blueprint that was just flat wrong on site?

Always snap a chalk line off the rough opening before cutting anything.
