My trusty Coleman stove finally gave out after 12 years
Last weekend on a trip up near Lake Tahoe, the fuel line on my Coleman two-burner just snapped right at the connector. Gas started hissing everywhere and I had to shut it down fast. Cooked all my meals over a campfire with a grate instead, which worked but took forever. Anyone else have a stove fail mid-trip and what did you switch to?

You ever have one of those moments where you realize you've been wrong about something for years? I used to think Coleman stoves were basically indestructible, like the Nokia phones of camp gear. I had mine for almost a decade and never had a problem, so I just assumed they'd last forever. But seeing your line snap like that and hearing about the gas hissing, man that changed my mind quick. I switched to a single burner butane stove from MSR after that. It's way smaller and honestly feels sturdier than my old Coleman ever did.

Ngl, @wren307, that gas hissing detail is giving me chills just reading it.
