Took me 3 trips to figure out why my tarp leaked at Lake Wenatchee
Every time it rained at Lake Wenatchee my tarp leaked right where the ridge line ran, and I kept blaming the tarp itself. Turned out the problem was my paracord, it was stretching when wet and rubbing a hole in the fabric over 2 nights. Switched to a 1/8 inch shock cord and the drip stopped completely, took me 3 separate camping trips to even notice the stretch. Anyone else deal with cord stretch wrecking their setup, or am I the only one who missed something this simple?

That paracord stretching when wet got me too, lost a whole weekend at Rainier before I figured it out.
