Am I the only one who didn't know black bears can climb faster than they can run?
Found this in a trail guide at the ranger station near Asheville last weekend, and my whole 'just outrun it' plan fell apart on the spot. Now I'm rethinking where I hang my food bag, so what's your setup for keeping critters out of camp?
