Just lost $180 on a bad cable order from a new supplier

Last month I needed 500 feet of RG6 for a big apartment job in Tulsa. Found a supplier online with prices 30% under my usual guy, so I jumped on it. The cable showed up looking fine, but when I tested it with my signal meter, the shielding was totally off. Every drop I ran with it had ingress issues, and I had to redo 4 units before I figured out it was the cable, not my terminations. Took me a whole weekend and $180 in wasted material to swap everything out. Called the supplier and they blamed my connectors, even though I use the same ones as always. I'm back with my regular distributor now. Anyone else get burned by cheap bulk cable from a random online place?
