I see guys constantly arguing: repair the old coax or just run fresh line? Where do you stand?

Feel like I'm with jordank52 on this one. I mean, how many hours do you wanna spend chasing a ghost signal in some old, cracked coax? By the time you find the bad spot you could have just run new line and been done. Maybe it's just me but the peace of mind is worth it.
