Just realized my dado stack is 3 years overdue for sharpening

I was at my bench in Schenectady last week cutting a bunch of tenons for a kitchen job and noticed the cuts were coming out rough and burning. Took a closer look at my Freud 8 inch set and the carbide tips are chipped in a few spots. Has anyone had good luck sending theirs out for sharpening or should I just buy a new stack?

Got a similar set myself and sent them out to a local sharpening shop and they came back like new, only cost me $25. But I've also heard stories of guys getting their stacks back with uneven teeth that ruined their cuts. You might be better off just grabbing a new one especially if those tips are chipped up pretty bad, whats the model number on yours?

Right! My local guy wrecked mine worse than they were originally, just buy a new set.
