Update: my 11 year old vacuum finally quit mid carpet at 9pm and I fixed it with a $4 part
Was vacuuming the living room last Tuesday when it just died, no noise, nothing, so I pulled the switch out and the contacts were fried after 11 years of use. Swapped in a new $4 switch from the hardware store on 5th and it fired right back up, runs like it did on day one. Anyone else keep fixing old vacuums or is that just me being stubborn?
