Bonus for three cords of wood
In 2018 I got a fireplace insert for $2,400 and the tax credit was only $300. I was so proud of that thing. Four winters later the door gasket leaks, the blower quit, and I'm burning more wood than my old smoke dragon. I still like the fire view, but I don't know if it will outlast my uncle's old Fisher stove he's had since 1982. Anyone here keep a wood stove running 15 plus winters without a rebuild?
