Can we talk about the week the butter robot finally got a good edit and the sub went quiet?
So about two weeks ago someone posted a butter bot edit set to that slow piano track from the show, the one where he asks if he can go back to pass the butter. It was just 40 seconds long and it got maybe 12 upvotes. That same day a low effort meme with impact font and a Minion got like 300. I hung around the new queue refreshing for a bit because honestly the good edit made me feel something real about the little guy and his whole deal. Then three days later the good one finally started moving and hit the top of the sub. The comments were full of people saying they almost missed it, which kind of proves my point. I think the weekend it happened was slow for everyone, so a bunch of us were just sitting there scrolling and found it anyway. Do you all sort by new or hot here, because I'm starting to think that decides what this place actually is?

Heard a mod on another sub say 90 percent of people never click new, so top posts just snowball.
