My $300 vacuum sealer was a total waste of money

Bought a fancy chamber sealer six months ago for bagging cuts and the seal bar failed after like 40 uses. Anybody else have luck with those cheaper external ones instead?

Oh man, that's rough. I actually just read a comparison online saying those cheaper external sealers often hold up better because they're simpler inside. Less to break, you know? The chamber ones have more moving parts and that seems to be where they fail a lot. For bagging cuts, a decent external sealer might actually do the job just fine for way less money. Hope you can get some use out of yours or swap it out.
