YouTube recommended me a 4-hour video titled "The Sound of a Single Washing Machine Cycle" at 2 AM last night and I honestly watched 20 minutes of it before realizing what I was doing

I was just trying to find a tutorial for fixing a zipper on my kid's jacket and instead the algorithm decided I needed to hear the spin cycle of a Samsung from 2017 on full volume, has anyone else gotten hypnotized by utterly pointless recommendations like that?

Got totally sucked into a 45 minute video titled "Man quietly sharpens knives for 3 hours" at 1am, didn't even own a dull knife at the time. The algorithm knows exactly what it's doing to us.
