The algorithm recommended me a wedding dress 2 days after I searched for plumbing sealant

I was looking up epoxy ratings for a pipe repair job on Tuesday. By Thursday my feed was full of lace gowns and bridal boutiques in Toledo. I haven't searched anything wedding related in my life. My wife thinks it's hilarious, but I'm genuinely creeped out. How specific does a search have to be before one of these things goes off the rails? Has anyone else gotten a recommendation that made zero sense with their actual history?

The "two days" part really got me, because that same sort of thing happened with my old truck. I looked up how to patch a hole in a fiberglass tub, and within a week YouTube was showing me videos about restoring antique rowboats. I don't own a boat, I never searched for a boat, and I live three hours from any decent lake. My theory is these things just grab a word like "sealant" and then bounce around to whatever ads are paying the most that week. Your wife laughing is about the only sane reaction, honestly. I'd be more worried if it suggested a specific pipe brand that I'd only mentioned in a private email.
