Pro tip: a customer told me my cabinet handles were way too high
I had this kitchen reno in Austin where I installed all the pulls at 3 inches from the top like I always do. The homeowner walked in, measured one with her finger, and said 'nobody in this house is 6 foot 4, Charles.' I dropped them all down to 2 inches and honestly the whole kitchen feels better to reach. Has anyone else had a client catch a basic layout mistake you didn't even see?

and you just assume you grabbed the right measurement from your tape without double checking against the actual wall. then the client walks in and spots it in two seconds flat. makes you wonder how many other kitchens have been finished with the same hidden flaw nobody caught yet.

Always snap a quick reference photo right after measuring.
