Warning: I stopped reading 5-star reviews after the Squirrel Hill plumbing fiasco
Our basement flooded last March and I hired a plumber with 48 perfect reviews in Pittsburgh. Turns out half of those were from one neighbor's family. Now I read the 2 and 3 star reviews first, they list real issues like response time and actual pricing. That one job cost me $2,300 extra after they left a pipe loose. Anyone else filter by mid-range reviews before calling someone?
