My roommate yelled "that's not how you toast a bagel" from the couch and now I can't stop thinking about it
So last Tuesday I put a bagel in the toaster oven on the broil setting because I wanted it fast, and smoke started pouring out of the top vent within 90 seconds. My roommate Jake walked in, looked at the black disk I was holding with tongs, and just said "you know regular toast has a dial, right?" without even laughing. Is the broil button a trap for everyone or am I the only person who has set off a fire alarm making breakfast?
Broil is just the oven saying "hey watch this." I did the same thing with a frozen pizza in college and my smoke alarm still judges me when I walk past. Jake not laughing is the most disrespectful part honestly.
