Just realized the free library corkboard beats the coffee shop board for actual finds
I started taking pics of bulletin boards around Hartford about 6 months ago and mostly hit coffee shops on my commute. Last month I switched to the public library downtown and the difference is wild, 3 way better finds in 4 weeks vs maybe 1 every 2 months at the cafes. The library board had a hand drawn flyer for a free piano, a lost cockatiel named Mango, and a chess club that meets Sundays at 2. Coffee shop boards are 90% old band flyers and dog walker cards. Anyone else notice certain spots just pull better stuff than others?
