Found a flyer for a house painting gig that said 'no white people' and I had to read it three times
Saw it tacked to a corkboard at the laundromat on Western Ave. It was a handwritten note offering $500 for someone to paint their living room but specifically said 'Black and Hispanic painters only.' I get wanting someone who understands your space but it still caught me off guard. Has anyone else seen job postings with weird requirements like that?

Honestly that would've weirded me out too but now I get it.

Read an article a while back about how some folks just want workers who won't judge them or their home, and I guess that's part of it. Still a weird way to put it though.
