Warning: I was wrong about buying cheap dot grid notebooks in bulk
For 2 years I swore by the 5 pack of cheap dot grid notebooks from the office store because I thought fancy journals were a waste. Then in March I noticed my pen was bleeding through every single page and ghosting so bad I could not read Monday's tasks on Tuesday. My friend Dana let me try her $24 journal for one week in April and the 160gsm paper made my fineliners look crisp with zero bleed. I counted 9 pages I had ripped out of the cheap ones just because they were unusable. Now I want to know if anyone else switched and regretted it, or did the thicker paper actually fix your setup long term?
