Shoutout to my sister for the two-page weekly spread idea
She kept telling me to stop cramming everything into one page and just let it breathe. I fought it for months because I thought it would waste paper. Finally tried it last month and now my weeks actually make sense instead of looking like a tornado hit the page. Has anyone else found a weird little trick that you dismissed at first that ended up working?

My buddy refused to buy a slow cooker for three years because he thought it was just another gadget taking up counter space. Then his wife got one as a gift and now he makes beans from scratch every Sunday. It's funny how we resist things that sound like more work but actually free up the real resource we're all short on - our attention. Same with your weekly spread, you thought you were saving paper but you were really saving yourself from having to decipher your own handwriting later. The good stuff usually comes wrapped in something that looks wasteful at first.

Yeah, the part about saving paper and then spending 10 minutes trying to read your own mess is too real. @wyattbennett that's exactly how most of my "efficiency hacks" work out. I used to think I was being clever by cramming everything into a tiny planner, only to give up on it by February because it looked like a tornado hit it. Then I bought a big weekly spread and honestly, I waste less time now trying to figure out what I wrote. It's like the slow cooker thing - you resist because it looks like a step backwards, but it's actually the opposite. Now I just need to convince myself that color coding my schedule is not actually a waste of time, even though it feels like arts and crafts hour.
