Rant: Swapped my monthly spreads for weekly ones and it's way better
Used to do full month layouts with habit trackers and all that crap. Switched to simple weekly logs 3 months ago and actually stick with it now. Anyone else ditch the fancy stuff for something that actually works?

three whole months" - man, I gotta disagree hard with the whole premise here. Monthly spreads work because they give you the big picture, and ditching that is like driving without a map. I've been running the same color coded habit tracker setup for five years straight now. February slump just means your habits weren't worth tracking in the first place. Weekly logs sound nice but they let you off the hook too easy - one bad week and you just flip the page like nothing happened. If you can't handle seeing your whole month's worth of failures and wins in one glance, you're probably not ready to get serious about tracking anything.

...wait, you mean you actually stuck with it for three whole months? That's wild to me because every time I try to ditch my fancy monthlies I end up back in the same old patterns within like two weeks. I've got a drawer full of half-used planners with beautiful layouts I never touched past February. Maybe I'm just too attached to those big color-coded habit trackers even though they clearly don't work for me. But three months though... that's like a lifetime in planner time.
