My toddler got ahold of my journal and went to town with a red crayon

I left it open on the kitchen table for maybe two minutes while I grabbed a coffee. Came back to a masterpiece over my entire weekly spread. I just laughed and dated the page, calling it 'collaborative art'. Anyone have good tips for covering up crayon so I can still use the layout?

Crayon's wax... try a hair dryer first.

Hair dryer might melt the wax into the paper.
