My chat with a coworker made me rethink my whole weekly spread

Had a quick coffee break with Jenna from accounting on Tuesday and she casually said my bullet journal looks like a chore list instead of a planning tool. I asked what she meant and she pointed out that every single item was a task or a habit I had to do. No room for fun stuff or just reflecting on what went well. It hit me that I had turned my journal into a guilt machine. So I spent 20 minutes last night adding a small section for three wins from the day. Does anyone else find their collections slowly morph into pressure instead of help?

That thing about the guilt machine really hit me. Jenna from accounting might be onto something bigger than just journaling tips. See, it's easy to turn anything into a pressure cooker when you're trying to be productive all the time. Three wins from the day is a solid move though. I started doing something similar with a little smiley face or star next to things that actually felt good to do, not just check off. It's strange how a small shift in what you look at can change the whole feel of the thing.
