My attempt to draw a perfect circle for a habit tracker took a hilarious turn

I spent 45 minutes trying to freehand a simple circle for my new sleep log, and it kept looking like a wobbly potato. I finally gave up and used a roll of washi tape as a stencil. Anyone have a better trick for clean circles without a compass?

That "wobbly potato" line got me. I feel your pain. Honestly, just trace a glass or a mug from your kitchen. It sounds too simple, but it works every time and you can find different sizes. I ruined so many journal pages trying to be fancy before I gave up and just grabbed a coffee cup. Now my habit tracker circles are finally round.

Wait, you ruined journal pages?

Actually, freehand circles have way more character than perfect ones. That wobbly potato look shows real effort, unlike just tracing some cup like mason_stone9 said. A perfect circle from a stencil feels too sterile for a personal journal.
